Biosafety Requirements and Resources
Research within biological agents presents occupational hazards in our laboratories which must be carefully managed to prevent exposures and accidents. The University’s Biosafety Office together with the UR Institutional Biosafety Committee has developed safety requirements and guidance documents for a variety of biological hazards found in our laboratories. This information is presented below in an alphabetized list by topic. If you are looking for something in particular and can’t find it, contact the Biosafety Officer at X5-3014 or srosen22@safety.rochester.edu.
